Helping Heroes Campaign

Bruce Thornton A/C & Plumbing is offering free tune-ups of home air conditioners for Lubbock area teachers and education workers until April 8, 2022.

BTAC is offering free air conditioner tune-ups for Lubbock teachers and education workers. The “Helping Heroes” campaign also provides discounts for other Lubbock area homeowners.

Bruce Thornton A/C & Plumbing today announced that it is providing free tune-ups of home air conditioners for Lubbock’s teachers and education workers. Additionally, the company is offering a $50 discount on tune-ups for all other Lubbock-area homeowners.

“We just want to do our part to help people,” says Matt Hadley, President at Bruce Thornton A/C & Plumbing. “This campaign is a small way we can support those who prepare and protect our children in the places they learn. Our amazing teachers and education workers go to extreme lengths to keep our children safe and to enrich their lives. More than ever, that makes them heroes to our families and our community. And where would this world be without heroes?”

Tuning up a home’s air conditioning system before summer is a great way to beat the heat. The U.S. Department of Energy says, “Neglecting necessary maintenance ensures a steady decline in air conditioning performance while energy use steadily increases.” A seasonal tune-up can provide the following benefits:

Identify existing or potential problems before they cause a breakdown
Lower the air conditioner’s energy consumption by 5%-15%
Increase comfort by improving the system’s performance

The free tune-ups and discounts will be available starting today, March 7, 2022. For more information on the Helping Heroes campaign, visit btacinc.com or facebook.com/btaclubbock/.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great experience! Called 3 companies before BTAC and they all told me it would be a couple of days. I called BTAC and they were here within the hour. Jeremy came out to look at our AC unit and was extremely professional. I admitted I knew nothing about HVAC units and he made sure to let me know step by step what was going on and what to look for in the future. Wonderful experience. They will always be my first call now.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Jeff, the plumber, and his helper, John, were fantastic about diagnosing and treating our plumbing issue. They quickly fixed our problem! Jeremy, the HVAC expert, was also quite good at formulating a rule-out diagnosis and was very cordial.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Jeff Davis went above and beyond to repair an issue with the hot water heater in our outbuilidng. He worked with his excellent supervisor George to make sure the problem was correctly resolved and took the time to explain what was done in a way that we could follow as the customer. Great job!
