Comfort is our top priority at Bruce Thornton, and that goes well beyond our heating, ventilation, air conditioning and plumbing services. We believe we can’t be successful without being part of our community, and over the years we’ve partnered with many of the fine non-profit organizations working hard to build a better community. We’ve made dozens of donations and participated in many of their events for the sake of our friends and neighbors.

Ronald McDonald House Charities

Treating people like family is a mission that we share with the Ronald McDonald House Charities, a wonderful, international organization dedicated to helping families find strength in numbers. RMHC has been providing its services since 1974, and in that time, they’ve made it possible for millions of families to stay together by providing them with a place to rest and refresh. They’ve sponsored Ronald McDonald Houses as “homes away from home,” provided Ronald McDonald Family Rooms for hospitals and helped thousands of young scholars with grants and scholarships.

At Bruce Thornton Air Conditioning, we’re true believers in the Ronald McDonald House Charities’ mission and focus on the family. We appreciate the work they’ve done in Texas and around the world, and we’re proud to partner with our local chapter.

Sunset Church of Christ

We at BTAC believe in the power of relationships, and we’re happy to see one of our local churches is committed to relational Christianity. Our friends at Sunset Church of Christ are dedicated to serving the community through their children’s and youth ministries and small group Bible studies. Over the years, they’ve made a huge impact with their ministry to the deaf and ESL members of our community, and they’ve even gone abroad to minister and serve families in Mexico, Ukraine, Egypt and New Zealand.

We’ve seen Sunset Church of Christ grow markedly over the years and deepen their connections with our community, and we’re happy to support their mission and their vision.

Lubbock Christian School

Our friends at Lubbock Christian School have been serving the Lubbock area for even longer than we have. LCS was founded by five families in 1954, and families remain a cornerstone of their mission to this day. For more than half a century, they’ve been educating and equipping young people from our community for academic and professional success, and today, more than 95 percent of their graduates go on to higher education.

LCS is dedicated to creating an environment where students can grow in wisdom and stature, and that calling extends beyond the students. Efforts are ongoing to help the school enhance its physical campus and better serve the faculty, staff and families associated with the school along with the students themselves.

At Bruce Thornton Air Conditioning, we’re proud to support those efforts, and we look forward to partnering with LCS for many years to come. They’re one more way that we’ve invested in our people and our community.

Fiestas del Llano, Inc hosts the 33rd celebration of ‘El Diez y Sies de Septiembre’ with Fiestas Patrias in Lubbock

Fiestas Patrias is a celebration that exists as a remembrance of Mexico’s Independence from Spain.

Fiestas Patrias Parade will start at First Baptist Church on Broadway & Avenue V traveling east on Broadway up to Avenue M and then turn north up toward eastside of the Civic Center parking lot. All businesses, non-profit organizations, schools, any type of clubs, and athletic teams are encouraged to participate for FREE in the parade. No entry fee to participate.

  To the credit of BTAC and it's management, I had a frustrating experience with them on a call out for a problem with a blower motor. I made my opinion known and contacted them through email to express it. They responded, sent out new technicians and made it right. That doesn't happen very often these days, and it's good to see a company show it cares about that.

  I'm new to the Lubbock area and Bruce Thornton Air Conditioning was the first company we called. They had someone at our house to help in an hour and the service man had our AC fixed in 30 minutes.
